Our People
Lucy has acquired considerable experience of Family Law over many years working with a busy team of legal specialists. She has become very knowledgeable of essential Court procedures and understands the support that clients need at the most difficult and emotional time of their lives. Lucy is able to guide clients through the ‘no fault’ divorce process and where appropriate, assist in securing protection from domestic violence and abuse through non-molestation and occupation injunctions.
Lucy has a keen interest in both public and private law children cases and works closely with other lawyers in our expert Family team. She has enjoyed recent success in the prosecution of applications on behalf of parents to discharge Care Orders relating to their children. Legal Aid is available for such applications, subject to eligibility.
Lucy typically advises clients in relation to:
- Divorce
- Non-Molestation & Occupation Injunctions
- Discharge of Care Orders
- Disputes with Social Services, including Child Protection and Pre-Proceedings (PLO) meetings.
Lucy recognises the importance to a parent of being able to trust their legal team and have faith that we are on your side. She will therefore go the extra mile to build a strong working relationship with clients and help them to achieve the best outcome for themselves and their family.
