Victoria is a senior associate solicitor within the Company Commercial team having joined Laceys from a boutique London law firm. Victoria acts as a “trusted advisor” to her clients adopting a pragmatic approach in her advice on a range of company law issues from the start-up phase to established businesses. Victoria mentors the firms’ trainees and is also part of the local community being an external advisor to Bournemouth University.
Victoria typically advises clients on:
- mergers and acquisitions;
- management buy-ins and buy-outs;
- business disposals, both share and asset sales;
- corporate structures including group reorganisations and demergers;
- drafting the shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements and articles of association;
- partnerships and LLP’s;
- loan and security documentation;
- company formations and company secretarial matters;
- share schemes;
- charity matters; and
- trademarks and other intellectual property related matters.
Victoria believes that responsive communication ensures that she delivers expert service to her clients. Victoria’s experience in-house at SAP and as company secretary for Portsmouth Football Club gives her a business awareness which enables her to provide clear solutions for her clients.
Recent example of deals which Victoria has advised on include:
- advising on the sale of a group of betting shops to a national bookmaker;
- a restructuring of an international food brand; and
- advising on the sale of a large wholesaler.
Outside the office
Victoria splits her time between being a mum to her daughter and her dachshund.
