Helping support families with relationship issues during Covid-19
These are very worrying times for the health of the nation. Life as we knew it has, for the moment at least, changed dramatically. Social and business activities have been curtailed or severely restricted, with people being advised to stay indoors as much as possible and limit contact with others.
Such restrictions create additional pressures and problems for families going through the trauma of their relationship breaking down. Divorce proceedings could be delayed and if one of the parties was contemplating leaving the family home to ease the tensions, such a move might be postponed, thereby creating the potential for heightened conflict for the parties and their children.
It is therefore vital that families in crisis are able to access the professional services that can give them advice, support and assistance during this difficult period.
Laceys solicitors have obviously had to implement measures to protect their staff by reducing the number of people in our offices at any one time, whilst at the same time maintaining a good service for our clients.
The mediation department will remain open and clients will still have access to our support staff and our mediators. Please visit our website www.laceyssolicitors.co.uk for further information and regular updates.
In terms of appointments, in order to ensure the health and safety of both our mediators and our clients, unless absolutely necessary MIAM and mediation sessions will be conducted remotely via Skype.
