Laceys achieve unique recognition within Dorset in the 2020 Legal 500 Guide
Laceys Solicitors have again acquired recognition in the highly respected Legal 500, an independent guide to leading law firms in the UK. The guide ranks firms in their specialised fields, based on solicitors’ submissions and independent client reviews.
Laceys have been ranked in the 2020 guide for the following 9 key areas;
Corporate and Commercial – Dispute Resolution
Personal tax, Trusts and Probate
Intellectual Property – IT and Telecoms
Media and Entertainment – Licensing
Commercial Property – Property Litigation
Laceys are really proud to be the only Dorset based firm to be recommended within Intellectual Property, IT and Telecoms and Media and Entertainment, demonstrating our unique and invaluable expertise for the innovation and creativity that is thriving in Dorset.
We are also the only Dorset firm to be recognised within Licensing. The department is headed up by Philip Day, perhaps best summed up by Andrew Grove, from High Grove Events and Vice President of the National Outdoor Event Association, ‘Philip is a leading figure in licensing, if he doesn’t know it, it’s not worth knowing. If you need someone to represent you, look no further.”
Two further mentions must also go to Sam Freeman, who was recognised as an “Elite Leading Lawyer” in Corporate and Commercial law and Brendan Herbert, who was commended as a “Next Generation Partner” within Commercial Litigation.
In summary, Jonathan Ogden, Senior Partner at Laceys, said “I am delighted that Laceys has not just retained but exceeded last year’s Legal 500 rankings, a worthy reflection on our outstanding team of lawyers and support staff who work hard to ensure they provide a first class service to all our clients.”
