Success for Laceys with the Legal 500 rankings

Laceys has had another successful year with the Legal 500 rankings providing continued endorsement for our legal expertise in 7 practice areas within the firm;

Corporate and Commercial and Commercial Property – Tier 2

The Legal 500 is an independent guide to leading law firms in the UK, and the only way to get ranked is on merit demonstrating Laceys consistently excellent client service and advice across these practice areas. Following are a few of the comments received from the Legal 500 that support this.

Laceys Company and Commercial team was commended  by local and regional SMEs and growth companies as ‘one of the strongest corporate teams’ in Bournemouth, providing ‘exemplary customer service’ in complex corporate and commercial matters. The department is led by Sam Freeman, regarded by clients and peers alike as ‘a knowledgeable yet highly practical’ lawyer, who ‘approaches problems in a commercially astute manner’. Partner Natasha Duffy-Jones who also works in Company Commercial was described as ‘a powerhouse corporate lawyer’.

Our Commercial Property  team was recognised as being ‘very strong in the local commercial property market’ and standing out for its ‘excellent client communication’.

Our Commercial Litigation was praised as ‘a stand-out player among firms outside the capital’, providing ‘honest, clear and straightforward advice at a reasonable cost’.  The highly recommended Partner, Brendan Herbert, was described as ‘blunt, but simultaneously receptive to client comments’.

Laceys Private Client team were commended on delivering an ‘extremely efficient and knowledgeable’ service. Kate Mansfield, who heads up the team, was described as ‘very knowledgeable, and able to make legal matters clear and understandable for clients’; whilst Partner Simon Nightingale who focuses on agricultural property matters was defined as having a ‘keen mind, expert legal knowledge and thoughtfulness’.
