Alison is a Partner and Head of the Private Client Department, supervising and guiding the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
The Department covers a wide range of Private Client work including:-
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Estate and Tax Planning
- Long term care
- Court of Protection
- Tax reporting
- Estate Administration (including intestate estates)
- Deeds of Variation
- Trusts and Tax
Alison typically advises clients on Estate Administration and Powers of Attorney but her main focus is on managing the team of specialised lawyers who cover all aspect of the work in the department with an emphasis on client care and excellent service.
Alison has a wealth of knowledge in private client work having over 25 years experience and has worked locally and further afield in Hampshire during her career. She has a very approachable and compassionate demeanour which is particularly relevant when dealing with clients at what can be a difficult time in their lives.
