Geraldine is a senior associate solicitor who specialises in employment law. Geraldine has over 20 years’ experience of advising schools, charities, companies, estates and individuals on all aspects of employment law and dispute resolution.
Geraldine typically advises clients on:
- Restructuring and redundancies
- TUPE regulations
- Dismissals and Settlement Agreements
- The Equality Act and managing protected characteristics in the workplace
- Whistleblowing
- Family related entitlements – maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental rights, carers, dependants, flexible working etc
- Grievance, disciplinary and capability procedures
- People policies, contracts of employment and service occupancy agreements
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Managing safeguarding allegations against staff in schools
- Referrals to the Disclosure & Barring Service and Teaching Regulation Agency
- Serious incident reporting to the Charity Commission
Geraldine prides herself on really getting to know her clients and helping them to achieve their goals commercially and pragmatically.

Geraldine is working towards her grade 5 piano and enjoys spending time with family and friends and long dog walks.
