Laura is an Associate at Laceys and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives who, overall, has nearly 20 years’ experience within Private Client.
Laura advises on a wide variety of private client matters including the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, the administration of estates from straightforward to more complex cases, the creation and management of trusts and applications to the Court of Protection.
Laura typically advises clients on:

Laura prides herself in offering clear, empathetic and pragmatic advice particularly during what can often be sensitive and emotionally challenging times. Laura has built a strong track record for being approachable, responsive and meticulous in her work.
Recent example of matters Laura has advised on include:
- Advising high-net worth married couple on structuring their wills and estates to mitigate the eventual inheritance tax liability.
- Administering a complex estate which included substantial lifetime gifts with a successful claim to HMRC that gifts were made out of income, rental property portfolio and related tax matters.
- Administering a long-standing discretionary will trust to include advising the trustees on their duties and responsibilities and dealing with sensitive and complex situations involving several beneficiaries.
