There are two key changes which employers need to be aware of that will be in force from April 2019.

The first is that the annual rise to statutory employment pay, such as National Minimum Wage, sick and maternity pay come into force. See the rates HERE.

The second is that all workers and employees must receive a payslip and in some circumstances, show the hours worked. This is important as previously, it was only employees who had such a right. Guidance is HERE.

These changes are not only complicated, but risky if ignored or missed as claims can follow.
