An opportunity to be an integral part of this well-established and growing team, advising on all types of commercial property matters. The team manage a wide client base including property developers, owners and investors, for all aspects of commercial property work, including sales, and purchases, of an extensive range of land and property types and landlord and tenant work.

Experience for is important (at least 2 years PQE) but we’re also looking for someone who is personable and has the self-motivation for business development and networking. Local knowledge is an advantage.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LOCUM SOLICITOR

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Property Locum Solicitor to provide cover within our well-established Legal 500 team on the South Coast. This position is ideally suited to someone with local background knowledge and experience.

We’d like to hear from you if you have a sufficient PQE enabling you to cover a broad range of commercial property matters, often at partner level. We’re looking for someone who’s available at short notice, with the potential to cover in the region of 20 weeks per year and ideally to become our ‘go to’ Locum.

We can offer a pay rate commensurate with experience. Support from our pool of Legal Assistants will be available to you.  A degree of remote working will be considered.

RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LAWYER / CONVEYANCER

In addition to supporting clients with sales and purchases, this is a chance to be part of a team who provide a full range of legal work relating to residential property including re-mortgages, equity release and transfer of equity, easements and rights of way, freehold and enfranchisement and leasehold extension, trusts and private mortgages. We’re looking for someone who’ll really get to know our clients’ needs and ensure that we continue to get a high number of returning clients.

Laceys are looking for a minimum 2 years PQE commercial solicitor with experience in a variety of commercial contracts, intellectual property and data protection to work within our progressive award-winning Corporate and Commercial department. Hybrid working is an option.

FAMILY LAWYER (GENERALIST)

Are you a Resolution member? If you’re as committed as we are to resolving matters constructively and with minimal conflict, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at a senior level.

We’re looking for a lawyer who is consistently sound in their approach and has the ability to hit the ground running in a wide variety of private client family work including:

  • divorce;
  • pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements;
  • private law childcare cases (contact and residence);
  • financial remedy proceedings;
  • family law injunctions; and
  • child abduction (internal and external).

You will have at least 4 years PQE (probably more) and already be working on a range of complex cases, perhaps even at partner level. It will be a distinct advantage if you’ve developed a great reputation and following locally, have been collaboratively trained and / or are a member of the Law Society’s Family Panel.

PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR

Laceys well-established and trusted Private Client team is recognised in the Legal 500 for our expertise in Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate. We provide clear, sound advice to individual clients and families in relation to a range of complex affairs.

Due to sustained growth in caseload, we are looking for an experienced and qualified Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE to join the team to handle a caseload of Wills and probate matters to include administration of complex estates, trust creation and administration.

Prior experience supervising junior members of the team is desirable, as is STEP accreditation.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS DEVELOPER (LEGAL CASE MANAGEMENT)

Working closely with the IT partner, the key objective is to analyse and improve work processes within our legal case management system and other applications. An excellent problem solver, you’ll design business solutions in regular consultation with departments, ensuring user requirements are met. You’ll also work effectively with third party developers or tool providers. You’ll be a team player, ensuring the IT user support team is able to provide day to day support by documenting your solutions.

You’ll have previous proven experience as a Business Systems Developer, preferably in a professional services environment. Experience of case  /practice management systems would be a distinct advantage. You’ll have good knowledge of MS SQL programming and knowledge and experience of web platforms would be an advantage.
