“Laceys acted on behalf of my late uncle in what proved to be a quite complex administration of his estate. Matters that required resolving included the management of the realisation of this estate - which was made significantly more difficult due to certain assets being held outside of the British jurisdiction. Natasha Cross dealt with this estate in a very professional and timely manner and helped me out enormously in the discharge of my responsibilities of both executor and trustee whilst doing so.”
“I found Natasha Cross very patient and always helpful to me and my family in what has been a very difficult time for us all over the last eighteen months. ”
“I found the whole experience with Natasha Cross very professional and she explained everything in a way I could understand. She is an asset to Laceys and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for any legal work.”
“Natasha has always explained things clearly so that I understood the process and reasons behind what she was saying. I would highly recommend her to friends and family should they need any work doing.”
“It was an awful time for us as a family made so much harder by being abroad and such a long long way from home. Natasha and the team at Laceys were truly amazing. They took such great care to cover everything thoroughly and helped us through each step of what is a complicated journey. My fathers estate was not so difficult to understand but still, to have great expert advice and wise guidance through the process was very much appreciated. My wife and I will always be extremely grateful to Natasha and the Laceys team for their professionalism, support and kindness.”
“Natasha helped take all the pressure off me at a time when I was acting as an Executor of my friend’s Estate and at the same time dealing with my wife’s illness and subsequent death.”
Natasha is the Partner in charge of our Parkstone Branch and specialises in Wills and Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. “I have used Laceys many times and this is the second time Jeanette has been the main contact. I can honestly say I always feel I am dealing with people who care about me and have my best interests at heart and all for a fair price.”
“Laceys were my first choice when my father was diagnosed with dementia and could no longer cope with personal and financial affairs. They clearly explained the options open to me and then outlined the process, timeline, and financial costs associated with the application for deputyship. During the process there were regular updates on progress and advice on the wording of answers to some questions on the court application forms that would ensure clear and unambiguous statements. With their help the whole process was completed in a shorter time than expected and I deeply appreciate all the help and assistance I received during this difficult time. My special thanks to Jeanette Gallacher who was my paralegal on the court proceeding and successful application. ”
Jeanette began her career with Laceys after she left school and has worked over the years in various departments obtaining valuable experience. Since 2005 she has settled in our Private Client as a paralegal specialising in making applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of Deputies to look after the financial affairs of clients who are no longer mentally able to do so themselves. She also manages client affairs under Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Away from work Jeanette loves long walks and enjoys travelling to France in her husband’s classic car.
“I just wanted to say many, many thanks for wrapping this all up on my behalf. I am very grateful that the process was pretty straightforward and handled by yourselves with next to no “discomfort” caused to me. A lesson in life has surely been learnt!! Though I enjoyed meeting you I am sure you understand when I say I hope our paths never cross again … professionally ????”
“From my first tentative meeting with Sara she gave me the confidence to pursue my case especially with regard to securing my financial future... In the end Sara achieved a successful result for me securing my financial future for the rest of my life. I cannot speak highly enough of the service Sara gave me.”
“Sara Gilak helped and assisted in maintaining my mother-in-law’s rights and she was able to explain the options that led to the final settlement clearly and in an easily understandable way.”
